Now based in Charleston and led by Ben Gramling III, the company and its development projects are testament to the lasting value that can be generated for homeowners when developers create a worthwhile vision, then work in partnership with the community to execute that vision.
“Our objective with Cane Bay was to create an environment that would give a wide variety of people the same access to the things that are important in everyone’s quality of life,” said Gramling. “We believe a nice back yard, good schools, and a safe environment shouldn’t be restricted to people who live in executive communities. So we made the commitment to preserve green space, invest in pedestrian infrastructure, and work alongside school officials to make sure Cane Bay could be all we dreamed it could be.”
To that end, Gramling and the rest of his team-land planners, architects, horizontal construction engineers, marketers, operation professionals, commercial developers, property managers, construction partners-work tirelessly with community leaders, listening generously and responding with solutions that protect the culture of the area while applying new ideas that will enhance the quality of life for all residents.
The Gramling Brothers’ portfolio of active projects include a number of residential and golf communities in the Upstate of South Carolina, as well as eight projects currently under development in the Charleston area.
